Americo
Industrial Supply Inc is a 100% woman owned certified DBE firm in California,
Arizona and Texas. We provide assistance in the development and
implementation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) M-WBE plans and
programs for local governments, airport and transit agencies, construction
firms, and large concession operators. We work with established industry
consultants, engineers, auditors and government agencies to provide
administrative, analytical and organizational support. These programs meet
all requirements of the United States Department of Transportation (US DOT)
49 CFR Part 23 and Part 26 regulations related primarily to aviation and
transportation/transit development projects, or local/state regulations,
including Subpart F Concession Plans.
Americo minimizes costs by developing procedures to
systematically gather the data. Many
of the frustrations and costs incurred with the DBE Program are due to
repeated requests and waiting for data already prepared for other purposes
and filed. Americo insures all aspects
of the Program are monitored and generates reports reflecting compliance. Pre-Bid meetings are used to explain DBE
Program Requirements. DBE and Small
Business Outreach is used to increase local
participation and support the local economy.
DBE databases and Bidder’s Lists are current. Staff is trained to unify all elements of
the regulation.
Established
in 1993 as a distributor of parts to the military, airports, local
government, large corporations and public utilities, Americo Industrial
expanded in 2001 into a consulting division concentrating on all aspects of
Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR Parts 23 and 26. The DOT consulting
division is now the sole focus of the business.
With our
extensive experience in working with multiple divisions of the government,
